Improving Organizational Performance and Profitability

I assist clients in developing an integrated strategic planning and thinking process into the client’s culture so that strategy and planning is ingrained into the decision making process at all levels. This becomes an evolving plan that will help organizations adapt and make the necessary changes within the organization.

The strategic planning process includes a comprehensive assessment of the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities (SWOT) of the company. I assist clients in developing a plan with a mission statement, objectives, strategies, and action plans. It is my intent to gather as much of this information virtually as possible. This step reduces the amount of time required for on-site communication and reduces the cost of the planning process.

The major steps of the planning engagement include:

  • A planning situation analysis
  • Development of a mission statement
  • Development of organizational objectives and goals
  • Development of key strategies
  • Creation of action plans
  • Implementation and follow-up

Benefits from this service include:

  • Focuses management thinking
  • Improves organization performance and profitability
  • Creates commitment to the planning process
  • Improves teamwork across the organization
  • Links the annual forecasting and budgeting process to strategy
  • Improves the competitiveness of your organization

Since I can perform a number of steps on a virtual basis the planning time can be compressed which minimizes the cost of the engagement. Fees will vary, depending on the size and complexity of the organization and its previous experience with strategic planning.
