Business Processes
Business processes is a commonly used phrase, but is not very well understood. A process is a series of actions or events. It is a sequence of operations to achieve an objective, build a product, or deliver a service. In an organization sense, a process is a series of activities that cross functional and departmental boundaries to accomplish business objectives.
There are literally thousands of processes within a business organization. Improving these business processes represent the difference between success and failure and profit or loss. My work is focused on process analysis, process optimization, and process cycle efficiency. I provide the techniques and training to improve and enhance business processes.
My training and consulting programs are directed at business process improvement so that I can act as an agent for change. I have created toolkits and manuals to teach my methodologies to business owners and their business advisors. I offer a wide range of practice aids and support that are focused on business process improvement for all types of businesses.
My book, Dynamics of Profit Focused Accounting is an excellent reference to the tools and concepts encompassing corporate performance management and describes the tools and techniques to increase profit, create value, and build a solid foundation for the future.
Internal control processes is one of my major points of focus. My other book, Profitable Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance spells out the elements of a dynamic process of internal control. It defines operating effectiveness, effective design, and implications on the supply chain. It offers a framework for continuous compliance and improvement and describes the cornerstone of competitive advantage which is knowledge management.
